Will York Audio IRs work with my gear?Yes, our impulse responses are compatible with any digital amp modeler, plugin, pedal, or load box capable of importing IRs in .wav format. Our packs include 96k, 48k, and 44.1k sample rates. Just refer to your gear's owner's manual to find the sample rate that's right for your equipment and use the appropriate option. Simple.

I'm not seeing some of the Cab Packs I've purchased in my account. Why is that?Our website host, Wix, currently allows digital download links to be valid for 30 days. We're working with them to change this, but until then, just send an email through the contact page and we'll take care of you. It is highly recommended to backup your Cab Packs on a thumb drive or external hard drive in case you have any computer issues resulting in missing files and need immediate access to previously purchased products.

I really love the Mixes in your packs, but I how do I know what mics are being used?"The manual to every product includes a list of all multi-mic mixes with the mics used for each mix. Mixes were given numbers to keep the file names shorter. Use what sounds good to you. You may be surprised by the mics you end up liking.

The other IR guys use numbers or letters to show their IR’s brightness and darkness. Why don’t you do that?I feel it’s very limiting to focus on a small section of a speaker just to get different levels of top end (essentially). I always have a bright capture for each mic, but I think it makes more sense to capture great sweet spots all over the speaker. It gives you a wider range of of tonal options with fewer IR’s to audition.

Should I keep my amp knobs at noon to find the right IR for me?If that’s how you like to set your amps, then go for it! But I recommend you dial your amp the way you like it, check out the Mixes (or Singles), choose one that feels right to you, and turn a few knobs to hone it in. Too dark? Lower your bass or raise your treble. Too bright? Just lower your treble or presence like you would on a real amp. I never set my real amps all at noon, and I’ve never seen anyone else do it either. We’re guitar players. We turn knobs until it sounds the way we want.

What are some of the tech specs for your Cab Packs?Files come in 96k, 48k, and 44.1k sample rates to use with any modeler, plugin, or load box that can load IRs. They’re 500ms files in both MPT and RAW formats. I used 500ms files to maximize the detail in each IR and to keep from “folder fatigue.” Hardware units that utilize 200ms files will truncate (shorten) York Audio files upon import to their preferred length. Units that can host 500ms files will benefit from the detail in the longer file.

I see that different Cab Packs have different mics. What’s that all about?Every Cab pack is released with at least 6 essential mics. A 57, 421, e906, M160, R-121, and a C414. Those mics cover A LOT of ground, but inspiration happens and I want to shoot other mics on a cab. Also, Cab Packs will get free updates from time to time. So I may add more mics, more single captures, more mixes, etc….

I love how your Cab Packs sound! Can I share them with my friends since I bought them?Sorry bud, but it’s illegal to share York Audio products. The products are LICENSED to you, but you DO NOT own them. If you’re happy with my work, I’d appreciate it if you’d encourage your friends to buy the packs too. They’re priced affordably, and your continued support means I’ll be able to make more great stuff for you.

End-User License Agreement (EULA) of York Audio Products
This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and York Audio LLC
This EULA agreement governs your acquisition and use of our York Audio Products software ("Software") directly from York Audio LLC or indirectly through a York Audio LLC authorized reseller or distributor (a "Reseller").
Please read this EULA agreement carefully before completing the installation process and using the York Audio Products software. It provides a license to use the York Audio Products software and contains warranty information and liability disclaimers.
If you register for a free trial of the York Audio Products software, this EULA agreement will also govern that trial. By clicking "accept" or installing and/or using the York Audio Products software, you are confirming your acceptance of the Software and agreeing to become bound by the terms of this EULA agreement.
If you are entering into this EULA agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity and its affiliates to these terms and conditions. If you do not have such authority or if you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this EULA agreement, do not install or use the Software, and you must not accept this EULA agreement.
This EULA agreement shall apply only to the Software supplied by York Audio LLC herewith regardless of whether other software is referred to or described herein. The terms also apply to any York Audio LLC updates, supplements, Internet-based services, and support services for the Software, unless other terms accompany those items on delivery. If so, those terms apply. This EULA was created by EULA Template for York Audio Products.
License Grant
York Audio LLC hereby grants you a personal, non-transferable, non- exclusive license to use the York Audio Products software on your devices in accordance with the terms of this EULA agreement.
You are permitted to load the York Audio Products software (for example a PC, laptop, mobile or tablet) under your control. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements of the York Audio Products software.
You are not permitted to:
• Edit, alter, modify, adapt, translate or otherwise change the whole or any part of the Software nor permit the whole or any part of the Software to be combined with or become incorporated in any other software, nor decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Software or attempt to do any such things
• Reproduce, copy, distribute, resell or otherwise use the Software for any commercial purpose
• Allow any third party to use the Software on behalf of or for the benefit of any third party
• Use the Software in any way which breaches any applicable local, national or international law
• Use the Software for any purpose that York Audio LLC considers is a breach of this EULA agreement
Intellectual Property and Ownership
York Audio LLC shall at all times retain ownership of the Software as originally downloaded by you and all subsequent downloads of the Software by you. The Software (and the copyright, and other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in the Software, including any modifications made thereto) are and shall remain the property of York Audio LLC.
York Audio LLC reserves the right to grant licenses to use the Software to third parties.
Termination
This EULA agreement is effective from the date you first use the Software and shall continue until terminated. You may terminate it at any time upon written notice to York Audio LLC.
It will also terminate immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this EULA agreement. Upon such termination, the licenses granted by this EULA agreement will immediately terminate and you agree to stop all access and use of the Software. The provisions that by their nature continue and survive will survive any termination of this EULA agreement.
Governing Law
This EULA agreement, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this EULA agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The United States.
